T/A AAR block value?

I can't seem to find anything out there for comparison pricing so I thought I'd ask you guys. I have both an AAR block and a T/A block. Both were used in NASCAR for the 355 motors they ran back then. .030 over no damage to either one. One is converted to 4-bolt mains. Any idea of value? I may have overpaid but I couldn't see them just sitting in the corner of a shop any longer collecting dust.  Thanks for any input from those with experience in these.

They are probably most valuable to the owners of the original cars they came from if they are stamped with a serial # on them &  if they are not replacement blocks bought over the counter in the parts department . they are still by far the best LA blocks produced , but newer blocks like the R3 are better yet .

Both blocks have vins and I did check with the AAR and T/A registries. The T/A block came from a car in Iowa. The AAR was a new, unregistered number. The T/A is 296501, the AAR is 303635.

Price for these blocks seems to be all over the map, I have seen them from $1000 to $10,000.  As Chryco said, the bring the best value from the owner looking to reignite his matching motor with its car. A 0:30 over block should sell for around $2500.

You could very well find the owner who most likely would make it worthwhile for you to sell one or both blocks. My AAR is missing its original block and yours is about  130 higher than what I need. Yes, I have to agree, that prices are all over the place. The upper prices tend to be more of a complete package though. If the blocks are still usable as you describe, I would speculate that a bottom line price may be around $2500 give or take. If a person with a car that needs the specific block, then of course the price may go up.

2500.00 for each block sounds right.  Low end of course. 

Someone needing an aar block specifically might pay a little more. 
There is one for sale for 10K right now.  Still for sale of course.

Thanks for the help guys. Even though I have a challenger I'm just not well versed in parts value.
