hey thanks Brad, great looking carb and yeah might as well get the line set with it.   Bruce

If you need fittings/line I got mine here. Priced right and easy to assemble IMO
http://www.anfittingsdirect.com/
The hose is lined with PTFE  and is good for ethanol and FI pressures too. I went this route just in case I wanted to add FI at a later date?  Traditional hose like Aeroquip with rubber liner won't last with fuel left in them . Aeroquip salesman told me 1 year if fuel is left in them 4 year if not. FYI....

Urich's chart suggests an 1150 and Vizard's forumula, if you assume the heads are not all that great (which is hard to do with a hemi) predicts a 1050.  there is a reason that the factory used dual quads on much smaller engines.

A 950 for a pure street car will start acting like a choke around 5300 rpm.

A 950 will choke a 572?  Maybe an 800 hp 572, but not a crate 650 hp 572?

I bought stainless 1/2" thin wall tubing and used Swagelok stainless fittings I sourced off E-Bay and amazon. Borrowed a buddy's tubing bender and " went to town"  I'm using a Mallory electric fuel pump with a regulator and a return. Also used fire sleeve to keep the lines cool around the exhaust.

I think Swagelok are the only compression (non-flare) fittings approved for gasoline aren't they?

I'm not sure? :clueless:  I just bought them because they were stainless and had 8AN connections.  When I looked up the specs they are WAY overkill pressure wise. They are used in high pressure hydraulic applications.
