When changing parts, when to get an allignment?

So due to a failure of an upper control arm and ball joint I am getting tubular UCAs.  Understanding Ill have to get an alignment when complete due to the change in caster/camber. I also plan to do other parts in the future. I like the QA1 stuff (LCAs, K-member, ect)

My question is which parts require an alignment when replacing/upgrading? I'm trying to figure out which parts make sense to do at once to avoid doing an alignment multiple times.

Thoughts? Advice?

All front end alignment adjustments are made with the upper control arm camber bolts and the inner/outer tie rods

I would have the alignment checked anytime I changed the Upper or lower control arms, inner and/or outer tie rod ends, ball joints, and/or front struts. Our alignment machine shows differences of 100th of a degree and the specs are mostly shown in 10th's of a degree. It is easy to change something a 10th of a degree and get it out of spec.

Pretty much every time except for replacing steering box, pitman or idler arms. If you are precise in your measurements, you can replace tie rod ends and re-set in your driveway.
