« on: May 15, 2015 - 05:18:29 PM »
Hello Guys...

I need to replace the rear wheels bearings ( the outer ones )  does someone Know the Numbers of the  bearing / retainer ?  So I can go to my local bearing dealer to buy some good bearings instead of this chinese stuff....  the Numbers will start with  "LM " followed by a number...

Thank you !!

Greetings from Germany

Hello Mopar Jack

Thank you for the number...  the number is for the  wheel bearing cone only.   DO you have the number for the second part ( the race ) ?

If you order Timken Set7, you will get the bearing, race and the retainer that holds it on.

You can go to the Timken web site and search their catalog. They have a kit available that includes the cup, cone, retainer, and the steel shim and foam gasket. When you change the bearings you should change the small  seal at the end of the axle. If you can clean your bearings and they look good I would get a grease gun with a small needle attachment and re apply new grease.
