looking for your numbers matching 440 six pac engine?
« on: May 25, 2015 - 01:02:23 AM »
I have recently acquired a 1970 440 six pac engine. It has code 2536430-9 stamped on drivers side and F119322 on passenger side above oil pan.
I am assuming those are the last 6 digits of the car it came from? this may be a long shot but let me know if this engine belongs to your car.

Well the F code is the Newark assy plant so what was built in Newark that would have a 440+6 ?
Or is the code an E which was the LA plant which did build E bodies ?
No A body had a 440 +6 , I can only think of B & E That had 6 packs
Was any C body built with a 440+6 like the 70 Sport Fury ?
Or is the block just a 440 HP with the 6 pack rods etc which is far more common ?
