These cars were banned by NHRA in the early 80's due to several deaths, they were just to fast for the technoligy of the day. This car had been sitting in a warehouse rotting away for 30 plus years. We disassenbled the car and did a nut and bolt restoration, wanting to preserve a part of history. But we had no clue how to make it run
Anyway, we showed the car a few times, had some fun, then decided it was time to sell, maybe to a museum. Anyway I was showing it off on Facebook and hinted it may be for sale. I was contacted by Ky Michealson," The Rocketman ", the original builder of the car. He and Kurt Anderson wanted to make the car live again and try to get NHRA and others to allow these cars to run again. Well, a deal was made, and by god they did it. Makes me feel good knowing I had a part in it. First picture is when we finished the resto, second is when Jeff delivered the car to Ky and Kurt.
