Vinyl top install question
« on: June 01, 2015 - 10:29:06 PM »
I bought a new top for my Cuda.  I opened the box and noticed its in two pieces.   The Dutchman panel area is not sewed to the rest of the top.  Is this common?

Who did you buy it from?  Can you call them and ask?

Bought it off EBay from Goliners.  They sell a lot of tops and headliners.  I'm sure I can call them.

My 71 cuda top from legendary was 1 piece. What are you supposed to do about the seam then?

On my old Challenger SE, it was 1 piece.  Doesn't sound right. Return it.  So you are talking about the piece that goes under the rear window?

It should be one peice, period.  Cutting the hole where the rear window rests, to me at least, was the hardest part of the install
