I ordered front brakes a couple weeks ago. I got the DS mounted tonight. I think these brakes will look decent. The rotor centers need to be painted black though. There's just too much zinc right now. I might also paint the calipers the same color as the engine. It will look good against the blue body but won't be too distracting.
Now I can measure for wheels. Just a quick check shows a little more than 5.5" from the mounting face of the rotor to the outer tie rod end. The drop spindles I have use a through bolt with a tapered head to attach the lower ball joints. That makes you put the nut on the inside. With the bolt in its current location, it hits the sway bar tabs on the lower control arms. I need to hook up the tie rods/center link and run the steering box lock to lock to be sure but I think I'm going to have an issue. At minimum, I'll need to trim off the bolt. If it still hits, I might have to try and find a thinner nut.
