I was talking with a someone at work about getting my engine refreshed including getting it bored 0.030 over. He mentioned that I may need to get an aluminum radiator to avoid heat build up. I have the original stock 26" radiator which appear to be in good shape (tubes that I can see look clear) Stock cam, intake and water pump and a/c. No cooling problems obvious when I ran the engine before pulling it. I live in Buffalo, so we don't see many days above 80F.
I know I won't know for sure until I actually drive it, it but if boring involves a big leap in heat I'd rather take care of it now. Thoughts?
