What have you used for sound deadener / insulation?

Off topic slightly, but how did you get a 10% off code for summit? I've been trying for about a year and can't find/get one! Said only at car shows but they don't attend any in the NJ area

I just finished the interior. I used Fat Mat Mega Mat. It was pretty easy to work with. It came in two rolls of 100 sq ft total and I used about 90 sq ft and I didn't do the roof and had hardly any waste.

Looks good Joe and Tom. I would say, put the gas pedal in now and make sure the insulation isn't to thick in that area. I did my car and finished the carpet and found out the gas pedal was rubbing on the side. I had to remove a little insulation in that area.

My gas pedal was a little close to the hump. I installed the plush ACC carpet too which made it even closer to the pedal. So I tweeked/bent the pedal rod just a tad to the left for a little better clearance.

I cut a piece of inner tube and put it around the shifter opening to help deaden sound and heat that comes up though it.

I have plenty of clearance for the gas pedal but I did have to trim some off the inner wheel well. The build up of Mega Mat there was keeping the rear plastic side panel from going all the way back and it was hitting the door when I tried to close it.

Would it be worth it to do the trunk floor? I probably have enough left to at least do the center section of the trunk.

I did the divider between the trunk and the backseat, right on the cardboard.

I've always used Peel N Seal from Lowes or Home Depot.  Way cheaper than Dynomat and in my opinion does almost as good as job.  The only down side to this product is if you are in warm states in the summer it doesn't hold very well to doors or roofs.  I only use it on my floors and never had an issue.

The Home depot frost king duct wrap is way cheaper, easy to remove and has been on the roof and floors of my Charger since 2010 and is stuck as well as the day I put it on...

I didn't install my fatmat to remove it later.
I could care less if a future restorer gets pissed off. I'm not building it for them.
Besides, this is the last restore this car will need in my life time and probably future generations.
