Steering coupler

Have 71 cuda with manual steering and want to replace the steering coupler. What would you guys suggest.....numerous options out there to cypher through. What have you guys used with success and ease of installation?

I suggest you rebuild the stock coupler, it's well designed & has done it's job on millions of cars for billions of miles... :2cents:

you can by a coupler re build kit on line thru E Bay.

You'll need two big C clamps is the way I found how to compress the seal tight to tang the edges over.



The manual steering coupler housing is slightly shorter than the power steering coupler but it can be used if the steering shaft is pulled out slightly a little more.
