Small block Quick ratio arms and TTI headers
« on: December 25, 2015 - 07:20:04 PM »
:wavingflag:  How big of a dent do you need on TTI headers to clear Firm feels quick ratio pitman and idler arms. And which ones are you guys running? 340 block, indy t/a heads. I was going to build my own but am getting frustrated so either going to try the TTIs or Schumacher Creative tri-y headers.  But not keen on smashing up a new set of 900 dollar headers.

:wavingflag: they now make small block too and they look pretty nice. and I like the ball flange ideal, less sealing issues. Check them out pretty nic IMOP.

:wavingflag: They said they are not sure but would pay the return shipping if they did not fit or there were problems.  That is why asked about the TTIs. I know they fit with a ding but want ceramic coated and I know dinging them will damage it over time

I have TTI's to still install on my 340 and I got them because I thought they would clear everything.  I thought that was the big advantage?   :clueless:

TTI340BE-C4, 1-5/8" X 1-3/4" STEP HEADERS w/ 3" COLLECTORS. Im shortly going to a set of W2 heads which possibly need the larger, that said, I dont think this would be an issue, I havea good 3/4" clearance from the steering arms to any part of the pipes. My only complaint is I would not go flange headers again, they drag on everything, if i could gain a half to one inch there i would be happy, I dont want to raise the stance of the car but may be forced to. Mind you in this photo it doesnt look so bad
