Anyone here near Alapaha, Georgia?

I just picked up a grill for the Cuda. I'm in Charlotte NC and this is about 6 hours from me and he is not interested in shipping. I'd be willing to pay someone for their time to get it and to put it on a greyhound bus to Charlotte!!

We have members in GA, but Alapaha looks like it's literally in the middle of nowhere. I know it would cost more, but could you get him to drop it off at a UPS for you?
BTW, I'm in Greenville SC, so, depending on where you are, 1-2 hours away.

Yeah I might ask him to do that. The ad said pick up only but perhaps I can entice him to ship it with a few more dollars. That or I might just make a day trip to get it myself. Being a grill I'd hate for him to ship it and it show up in pieces! Thanks for the post!

There's a real expertise on "packing" grills for shipping. Just dropping it off could be a disaster. Better safe than sorry....

Shoot, I would take the time to drive down (from Montgomery, AL), get it, and bring it up to you in Charlotte; my oldest best friend lives in Cornelius and it's been a while since we've visited with each other.
Trouble is i'm in the middle of having to be home as contractors are working on my house - it's a long story - once the dust clears, likely by next weekend when work on the outside wood ought to be complete, I could better know for what days I could arrange the trip. It would definitely be over a weekend.
I'll keep you posted though
Do you have a rough idea how long the grill is? My vehicle is a 2001 Durango...

Rusty that would be awesome! I'd be more than happy to pay for your gas and time!! I told the guy it might be a few weeks for me to arrange to get it. If I keep him in the loop I'm sure he'll be ok with it especially since its paid for. The last grill I had fit in the back of my old Volvo wagon...
