I have a dual ballast resistor on my 73 Cuda. When installing an FBO system, are you supposed to bypass BOTH sides of the ballast resistor? I believe one side goes to coil positive and the other side goes to the ignition module.

You should be able to us a single / 2 pin to drop voltage to the coil as the coil will only live if you have 6-7v feeding it .

Well.. The kit comes with a resistor bypass wire. I don't know if I'm supposed to bypass both sides or not.

bypass should be on the side that goes directly to the + side of the coil.

no , the green feed wire to the ecu will not have a pin to connect to on the ECU
