Engine ID Number

Hi Guy's, trying to verify that the numbers match. Here is the question: the only number I can find on the motor is 2468130. This was on the left side of the block just above the oil pan. The motor is a 383  in a 70 Challenger. Is this the ID number or what? Thanks for the help. Plum_Crazy

 That is the block casting # the serial # should be above the pan rail behind the mount on the right side & stamped into the block on a 1/2" tall pad
