Heater box ID and date code question....
« on: July 21, 2015 - 01:46:36 PM »
I picked up an A/C heater box today. I was told it was from a 70 Challenger. It has been in dry storage since the early 80s.

Can someone confirm if it's a 70 E body box. The yellow stamp says

3502 189

0762 E

I'm no expert, but I would think a "3502" part number would be too high for 1970 ? and I would GUESS 0762 would be 76 day of 1972.....just a guess :dunno:

Is the box held closed by metal spring clips or a bunch of 5/16" hex headed screws?

Thanks!

Can some one please post a picture of an E Body A/C box that is held together with clips not screws.
I can say I've never seen that before :clueless:
