I'm putting together a hp 727 transmission... billet front drum, 5 (standard thickness) clutch pack set up and 15 return springs... It will have a 4.2 lever and early style billet front servo. The VB I'm using is a full manual, forward pattern turbo-action VB.
I found a restrictor plug in the case fluid hole that applies the front clutch pack. My understanding is that this is used on trans-go TF2 kits to prevent binding on the 2-3 shift. Turbo-action told me there should be no restriction here for the VB I'll be using.
Any tips on removing this? Should I just drill it out? I have the case cleaned and completely dissassembled
