Even though my ammeter is bypassed I'm going to look into doing the alternator bypass and replacing the bulkhead connector for the black and red wires?
Does anyone sell a kit with the wiring and fusible links?

Do the alternator bypass & headlight relays, you'll take so much load off the bulkhead connector it'll be fine... I would inspect it but if it isn't melted it'll never give you trouble once you remove the load...
