    Newbie saying Hi with a 71 challenger

    Hi guys the names Mike I have owned my challenger for about eight yeas now. I do want to do a full resto one day but at present i am happy to just have her on the road and save up to do the job right :burnout: I am going to put up a thread in the discussion forum to try and trace my cars history

    Thanks for the wecome guys, I am in the UK but after a holiday to friends in Calgary two years ago. We realised where our real home was and started proceedings to immigrate. Unfortunately my health has stopped us at the moment but I have not given up. Driving the highways out there I just imagined being in my challenger It was heaven. We are going back soon for a 30th wedding aniversary holiday and we are re doing our wedding vows at Lake Louise(we hope) :2thumbs:

    Hey ya found the site, cool ,

    Wolfman contacted me from the U.K. in an effort to find some history about his car,I told him how great this site is and how many people helped here,and  with his post he at least has a better handle on what it takes to find the history of a car.

    Welcome to the site.. Lake Louise is an awesome place, Sunshine & Banff aren't bad either.... Spent three weeks up there back in the winter of 86-87 Skiing & sight seeing...  Spent a few weeks in GB too... Beautiful place & great people....  :thumbsup:

     Thanks for such a warm welcome Guys, Yep we love Canada and the USA too(spent some time in Redondo beach) We are done with the UK it used to be great but not so much now as they are slowly killing the car scene amongst other things. Check out my update in my other thread.

    Welcome to the site from another Canuck. Lake Louise is pretty, but it's a huge tourist trap also. Drive through the Rockies to BC and you'll have to stop every few miles to check out the scenery. Don't miss the spot where you can watch the train go into one part of the mountain and come out another, lower spot after it makes a turn inside the mountain. I also hear what you say about old Blighty. Hope your health gets better.  :wave:   :canada:

    Our friend Martin is a train buff, So he showed us the spot you mean(i think) where the train goes in as it is so long you  see both front and back  sticking out both ends as it winds through. So when we win the lotto the car gets restored and we retire to Canada too :canada:
