Looking for original vinyl and cloth insert material for a 70 Challenger R/T SE. This is the vinyl and cloth insert that came with option code H5X9 which was a credit for taking a cloth insert and vinyl seat instead of the full vinyl seat. Vinyl is black and material is white/black checkered. Or...looking for a complete original upholstered seat bottom (drivers side) that has the original vinyl/cloth material.

Thanks for the help. I've requested fabric and vinyl samples from them. The passenger seat and the back seat are all original so if this is not NOS materials...it probably won't work. I've got my fingers crossed. Thanks again.

25 years ago I bought a set of covers with NOS Salt & Pepper material from Legendary, the material was in limited supply then so I doubt it's NOS but they are very familiar with what it should look like so chances are the reproduction is damn close if not perfect....  As far as truly matching your 45 year old seat, doubt it, between sun fading & wear, what you have won't match NOS...

If anyone has a complete seat with this material/vinyl H5X9 and would be interested a swap and I will pay $$$, please let me know. The previous owner neglected to tell me about this along with other things when I bought the car from him so now I am scrambling.

This came with the 70 SE project I just bought.  The bolt was sold to the previous owner as NOS, but I have nothing to compare it to, so can't verify.

That sure does look like the fabric Craig is looking for. Totally surprised there is original stuff like that still around.

Here is a close up.  I haven't heard from him, but I'll be at the Nats, so I could bring it with me if he wants to match it up.

Hi Todd,
Thanks for letting me know about the material and thanks for the picture. It's very hard to tell by looking at it. I have received 3 different samples from companies and all are close but none are an exact match. Also, I'm not sure if I can now use the existing material and may possibly be needing the vinyl instead or I may need both....who knows. I'll know more later but now I'm trying to get the other problems resolved that the previous owner neglected to tell me about and covered up.
