New 71 Challenger in the fold
« on: September 08, 2015 - 09:47:15 PM »
Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, and have recently acquired a Challenger for my own. I was the one guy in the crowd of guys I grew up with that never had a classic car, so I figured it was finally time. Bought this one mostly restored. Body is in great shape, and solid. Missing a lot of this's and that's, which it looks like I will be dedicating my weekends to locating and installing, henceforth. Now the important bits: She's a '71 Challenger R/T 340 4bbl, 4 speed manual. Motor rebuild and bored over .3, and transmission rebuilt. No rust, full floor pan replacement. The interior has mostly been cobbled together from other e-body parts, and missing things like seat backs, center console, etc, but most of the important stuff is there.

Looking forward very much to this project, and I have no doubt I'll need some info from time to time.

Glad to be here.

Welcome. She's pretty.
