70 cuda hole in inner fender
« on: August 31, 2015 - 12:46:37 PM »
I need the size of the hole that is under the battery tray on the inner fender. It is the big hole between the 2 smaller holes that the battery tray mounts to.The big hole looks off center between the mounting holes.I replaced the metal where the big hole was because of rust.Anybody out there with an empty engine compartment who could get me the measurements. Thanks

If you are still stuck I can get you the measurements tomorrow as I need to replace a rusty battery tray in one of mine.

My pleasure Bob.

For anyone's future reference, the center hole is 1" in diameter and is off set towards the front of the car by 2.5" center to center hole. The rear hole from the center hole is 3.5" center to center.

What's interesting is the battery tray has a 1/2" hole for water to escape and then below it is a 1" hole.  :dunno:
