Correct hood blackout 70 Challenger
« on: September 23, 2015 - 06:43:43 AM »
Hi, I've seen two types of R/T hood stripes on the 1970 Challenger.

One which is all black out.

One which is with a R/T cutout in the stripe.

Which one is the "correct" one for 1970?

ps. I have see some expensive restos with the R/T stripe.

e-body for life

The R/T cut-out was 1971. Solid black for 1970 :2cents:

I trust PERFORMANCE CAR GRAPHICS and according to their web site the R/T cut out was 71 only :2thumbs:

R/T cutout was 71...  It sometimes is used on 70's cause the owner likes it...   Next you'll discover the hand cut  R/T logo on the rear spoiler isn't correct... For that matter the rear spoiler is from a T/A & doesn't belong on an R/T S.E.... But it looks good on the car...
