Correct Jacking Instructions Decal
« on: September 19, 2015 - 11:40:33 AM »
So a simple case where I should have taken a picture and the opportunity is now lost . . .
There are two decals for 1970
2931181 - Less convertible caution statement, and
2962995 - With convertible caution statement

Is this as easy as saying that only convertibles would have received the 2962995 or was there a cut in date (presumably when the first convertibles were manufactured) that would have made the additional statement standard on ALL Cudas?

I'm particularly focused on AAR's but interested in any 70 Cuda to help in understanding. My car is a 3/19 built AAR. Would anyone have a picture of an original AAR jack sticker close to my SPD date?

What I'm hoping for is original paint/original jacking stickers from AAR's, along with SPD date if known. (Pictures appreciated if you have them)

Again, trying to determine whats correct

2931181 - Less convertible caution statement
or
2962995 - With convertible caution statement

Were all AAR's the same?
Were all Cudas the same after some SPD date?
Did only convertibles get 2962995?
Or is this another example of Chryslers random as hell manufacturing technique?
