    1972-1974 center caps on stock 14x5.5 rally wheels

    I have a set of 14x5.5 rally wheels and have the matching late (1972-1974) center caps.

    I tried to mount them to the wheels but found...

    1) the wheels only have three holes to mount the caps
    2) the caps don't sit flush into the wheels

    Does anyone know if this is how it should be? Does anyone have any pics????

    The numbers supposedly match on the wheels and caps for a 1973 Dodge Challenger 340.

    3 mounting scrws is correct , they do not fit perfectly flush
