Condenser is 70 only,   Most folks wouldn't notice the difference..

So if I did get one from a 74 challenger it would work?  I'm getting everything from a guy that's taking it all off of a 70 barracuda. He said he has found out that the b body condenser and condenser lines are different and the hoses going to the firewall are routed a different way. Would his condenser and lines bolt up and work or do I need to find ones from a challenger?

Got any pictures?   71-74 B body should work, not correct but functional...

70 Condenser has the high side connection on the passenger side,   pretty good photos here...  http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=74362.0
71 Condenser high side is on the drivers side... /The line routes very much like a 70 but instead of connecting on the passenger side it extends over the hood latch & connects on the drivers side

I'm really hoping to find someone getting rid of there whole under the hood a/c components from a 70 small block challenger, as the condenser and lines are specific to 70. And I will need the brackets and wires. I have the heater box and dash as the car originally came with air.

I would like to find somebody doing the exact same thing with a 1970 383 Challenger. Other then the typical replacement parts, I wouldn't mind finding everything else too...
