Best low coast headers???
« on: October 11, 2015 - 04:57:32 PM »
Hi guys!

I am searching for some good ceramic coated headers for not so much money like TTI- or Hooker headers!
I know that TTI´s are at the top of quality but they are to expensive for me...

I have seen a set of summit racing ceramic coated 1 7/8 headers for only 393$ on summit.
Does have anyone experience with them???

Thanks for help!  :2thumbs:

IMO there is no such thing .
what you save in header cost you lose in burnt ign wires , blown gasket replacement , having to dent them to clear something , warped flanges top & bottom , etc !
The extra cost of buying Dougs or TTI is forgotten , the on going hassles of cheap headers will leave you with regrets for years  :2cents:

If you stay up at night looking forward to changing headers then don't waste your money on quality.

Beg, borrow or (naaa), but save your money and do it right the first time.

I have Hedman Elite ceramic coated hedders and they cost $374. Not a single dent or alteration to make them fit. They fit perfect.

I have the Headman Coated as well.  Go to ebay, you'll save even more money.  I had no fitment issues on my 440 ebody:  As far as fitment goes, there are allot variables out there.  Some have reported fitment probs, some wont.   Frankly, as far as exh flange leaking, if you torque them corrrectly, as well as use high grade gaskets, (I use the soft aluminum kind and will never again use anything else) you wont have a leak
