Howard's lifters for 512
« on: October 06, 2015 - 10:26:59 AM »
About to pull the trigger on some howard's hydraulic roller lifters for my 512. I have a lunati 60312 cam and leaning toward staying away from their lifters to try and avoid the oiling issues I've read about. Howard's lifters part #91767, any issues I should be aware of?

While I have not run them the cam isn't terribly tall and Howard's has a great reputation for dropping in. I think you're fine.

I have Howards hydraulic roller lifters in my 520"  stroker and haven't had any issues in my first 1200 miles.  I am running a crower cam with .56? lift and 1.6 roller rockers.  My engine builder loves them.
