Prolly so when the grease gushes out it doesnt get on your rotor.

the nuts in the picture are not lock nuts though , I hope you are using lock nuts .
 I can usually force the ball joint  boots on with my fingers

Yes I bought 2 regular nuts to mock everything up to check for clearance then used lock nuts for the final assembly.

Got the dust book installed by tapping it on with a big socket.

Now on to installing the rebuilt Steer N Gear power steering box and rebuilt PS steering column.
This is new to me so I'm hoping to get everything aligned and installed right the first time.:dunno:
