Yes! The back tires are brand new pro tracs. The fronts are vintage "Interceptor" tires that I flipped around so I could have the black wall. I dont drive on them too fast because of the age. I plan on getting new bias tires for the front and doing the same thing by flipping them around. The backs are 15" and the fronts are 14".

What sizes are the new tires you have? Are those nos rims? cant wait to see them on your challenger. I am into the day 2 look. I dont care for the modified with new aftermarket parts look. but to each his own.

The wheels and tires are both brand new.  Size is 28X12.5 rear and 26X8.5 front

Wheels are patterned after the old Fenton Hawks.  The engine too as well has vintage speed stuff (except the Eddey carb).

I always thought it would be cool to do a day 2 car with nos day 2 parts. I have some i have been collecting.

In my opinion, that's the way they were meant to look. I like the red behind the cragars too. I always like seeing the back in the day pictures of these cars when they had day 2 parts on them.

Could be a whole 'nother thread.  Anyone else got any vintage/and or Day 2 street machine pics of their rides out there?

Thanks, they are American Rebel Mfg.  Fenton Hawk replica wheels.  One of only two manufacturers of custom wheels left that still produce and design everything in-house in the U.S.A.  They are low-pressure cast wheels and they are light.   :2thumbs:

Nope...but if I did...and I would if I could, you would know, because I would be screaming it from the roof tops!!
