Speedo drive gear
« on: October 23, 2015 - 09:02:46 PM »
I don't do much with automatic transmissions. I need to change the speedo drive gear on a 904 a wondered if the fluid drains out when the gear holder is removed like it does on a a833. Also any guess as to how many tooth gear I would need with a 904 and 3:23 differential with 225- 70 - 14 tires. Thanks to all replies.

yes fluid will drain if you pull the drive unit out .
It helps to raise the rear of the car only so the fluid is more forward inside the trans .
