I am sure there are headers that won't work with the FR arms, but "back in the day" I was running Hooker headers (as I remember it) and they worked; currently I am running Schumacher Tri-Y on the 70 Challenger (no issue) and TTI on the Cuda (no issues). Its one of those things you will have to see how it all works out (aka the joys of building an old car)...
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

I believe the issue of long steering arms only applies to the BB engine' with headers... SB engines won't have any problems regardless of which headers (TTi requires slight dent on pass side?... mfgr says yes, but some ppl say not needed.)
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!

See  MOPAR ACTION MAGAZINE, AUGUST 2006 ISSUE for featured article and details on my autocross T/A.

I had headers on my 340 that 2 pipes went over the steering link and 2 pipes under, (drivers side) don't know what brand, I don't think those would have fit with a longer pitman arm.

Our green70 challenger is equipped with Hotchkis suspension components front and rear. My son and I have been tearing up autocross track for the last 2 summers with it. My son won Lincoln, Nebr. GOODGUYS event this summer, top 5 car the last 2 years at GOODGUYS in Des Moines Ia.; tied for 2nd at the in the Street Machine Challenge, and 3rd fastest time overall between ALL cars new and old  at the Street Machine Nationals in St.Paul, Mn. a Go to Hotchkis website and our car is on their video for the event recap, pictures on their facebook page, had a cameo appearance on Detroit Muscle tv show and is on the add for next years Street Machine Nationals in St.Paul. So with that yes HOTCHKIS is a VERY good way to go, great group of guys there from people that answer phones all the way up to John Hotchkis himself (you will find him helping with autox events knee deep in the action) and it  keeps the car pure to it's original suspension design. The suspension works better then most of us can drive!! LOL.
P.S. I do recommend getting there geometry corrected upper controls arms right a way, I started with just a set of adjustable type which worked very good, then switch to Hotchkis control arms and there is a noticeable difference all the way around including infinite adjustability, handling, especially at corner turn-in that you can feel. Most people can't believe it still has torsion bars. HOTCHKIS stuff works.  Don't get me wrong I think alterkation stuff is good, as I was going that direction 2 years ago, but to stay pure Mopar and cheaper Hotchkis is the answer. I would put my HOTCHKIS equipped Challenger up against any Alterkation suspended, equally powered Challenger any day. Of course we race against them all the time(there called Camaros) as the alterkation suspension would be similar too GM coilover, 4-link suspension.

I never understood why everyone calls it Mustang II.... Call it what it is... Pinto based.... Pinto came out in 71, Mustang II was built on the same platform but it came out in 74.....  Oh wait, Mustang sounds sorta High Performance... Pinto not so much...

I've raced Pintos. Those 2300s can be built up pretty stout.

Yep the lower end is as stout as the old sbf's.
Serious rpm's can be had.

Yup, Pintos ruled over Vegas  (The Chevy kind, not the Nevada kind...)  They were tough little cars but the thing that made them the choice of Hot Rodders was the ease of adapting it to a street rod chassis...  The geometry wasn't great but it was worlds ahead of the buggy spring I beam with split wish bones it was replacing....

But as years have gone by it's been the foundation for allot of conversions that didn't need to be converted... I mean it's a huge improvement on a 1st or 2nd gen Nova...

It improves on a stock early Mustang or Falcon... But the Mustang/Falcon with a few simple changes & not converting to MII (Mustang 2) can blow a MII car in the weeds...

Now you get to Mopars & the geometry is already better than the MII and the swap makes little sense... Granted it eliminates the torsion bars of you really need the space but honestly allot of serious handling & performance cars use torsion bars because they do work very well...

And with a few parts the Mopar suspension really can shine...
