Standard front seat track removal
« on: November 23, 2015 - 01:17:31 PM »
Does anyone have any pictures of how to remove the front seat tracks from the seat itself? I looked at mine briefly last night. Does the track come off in 2 pieces or 1? Looks like there is a bolt on each side that is under the track and hard to get at?

There's two bolts holding on each track...easy to get at with the seats out :2cents:

Does the slider move to expose both? I was able to get 1 off each track easily, the other 2 seem to be covered up by the top sliding piece and doesn't slide enough to expose them?

slider might be binding, it needs to slide fully both ways to access bolts.       :rebel:

Yes, seat tracks move forward and aft....Some effort is needed if the springs are in place.

Remove the long spring before doing this. You can get hurt if you release the slider under spring tension.    :rebel:
