Black seat belts on red interior?

What is the correct seat belt color on red interior? I would say "Red" or is black also correct?

Black is correct. Red seatbelts may have been available with the premium belt package, but I'd have to look that up.

I agree with Kiss..... Black is standard but Red was available with the C15 Deluxe seat belt option which included the Red buckles with White trimmings.

But the Red belts do look real nice in that picture you posted

Our 9/28/69 sched build date chally vert has a red interior with black carpet and black seat belts. Its the standard belt also but I have heard that the black carpet and belts was an early 70s thing.

I do not believe this is date related. Well maybe the carpet, but not the belts. I'd have to check but I don't think red standard belts are listed in the parts manual, only deluxe ones. Anyone got a parts manual handy?

There were no red seatbelts unless you got the Premium Belts. Not many cars did.
