Custom license plate - advice needed
« on: December 02, 2015 - 06:50:14 PM »
Since my Challenger arrives in January I need to start thinking about getting custom license plates.

The format over here is RI - xxx - yy where RI is the city code (cannot be changed), xxx = 3 digits, yy = 2 letters.

If I had an R/T it would've been a no-brainer: RI-440-RT. But now I just can't decide what to do. My Challenger started as a base 318 and the engine was replaced with a 440 at some point. I don't want to turn it into an R/T clone.

RI-440-PC (plum crazy)?
RI-440-??

Ideas?

What are the rules? how many letters?  Does the RI need to have separation or can you incorporate it in your fun?

Cause these could be cool..

RI 148 CL     or.     PC
RI 1=one,  4= for,  8   CL= cylinder
This may get you going on a different track?

How about just sticking with the engine.

RI-440-CI for Cubic Inches.
Or
RI-440-IN for just Inches.
Or
RI-440-CU for just Cubes.
Or
RI-440-BB for Big Block.

It seems that in January our government will finally update the design of Croatian registration plates. New design is attached.

So far I really like
RI-440-CI for Cubic Inches
RI-440-BB for Big Block
RI-321-GO

Nobody over here knows anything about cubic inches so this will mean something only to me.  :icon16:

BTW, if I wanted to have something completely custom (up to 7 letters/numbers) I would have to pay $1000!  :pullinghair:
