Can anybody tell me what the correct center cap color was on the OEM rally wheels for a 1968 Cuda - was in the darker silver or the lighter?

Sorry,
What I was asking was; what denoted the color of the center cap on rally wheels (dark and light) where they for different body types (e.g. light on A&B etc.)

OK,
Rally wheels 101 here.  :grinyes:  70-71 had the round centers with argent silver paint. Light for 70, dark for 71. 72-74 had an acorn shape center. I believe these were just painted silver, without the argent glitter. This doesn't just pertain to E-Bodies, but any Mopar back then. I was just confused when you said you had them on your 68. Are they after-market?

Wheel 102

Rallyu wheels covered, but what he might have is Magnum 500 or road wheels.

Magnum 500 was all chrome, and road wheels used the trim rings.  if you are lucky to find stock Ford magnums you will find that they are wider than the Mopar ones.  centercaps had some variation, but I am not certain as to what they were.  mostly I just see stick-on replacements for these.

the rally wheels (acorn shaped centers) also had a set that some type of pop-in centercaps  I have see plain and i have see some type of logos but could not tell you much more.

Good luck (any 103 classess out there?-lol)
