Welcome to the board Billy!  Sounds like you have an interesting project on your hands.  :grinyes:  :grinyes:  I don't have a grill for you, but thought it would be great if you could start a new thread in the "Cudas & Challengers Galore" section and introduce yourself and post some pics of your 73.

Welcome!!!

Thank you for the warm welcome rev-it-up. I plan to get some digital pics this weekend and will take you advise.
This is a extra special project it is a 73 H code cuda what makes it special is it belonged to a close friend of my
daughter and my future son-in-law. The car was bought new and passed down to his son as a 16th birthday gift
the dad passed away with lukemia (sp?) and about two years ago so did the son about two days before he passed away he told my daughter he wished he had restored the cuda so they could go for a last ride. The car has sat in a barn for over 10 years (dads passing)
and my (future) son-in-law has kept in touch with his friends widdow, helped her with some chores ect..(he a good kid)
about two weeks ago a local mopar "wheeler-dealer" stopped and asked about the rumor of the cuda in the barn.
These "kids" are in there late 20's they had just built a house and she is straped for cash so she showed him the cuda
he offered her 3500 for it, but she called my (future) son-in-law an offered to him first since he and Philip (the son) were best friends
and kevin (son in law) would allways get tears in his eye when the barn was opened. so kevin called me and asked was this car worth
3500 bucks I of course said duh! cash or check? I told my daughter this your first early wedding present (aint I a good daddy?)
good story huh. I am an "A" BODY guy at heart and have restored a 68 cuda conv, a 69 cuda modtop, a 69 cuda fastback, and have a 71swinger and a 71 demon drag car 7 other "a" body parts cars but no "E" body parts, boo-hoo-hoo, I is real excited about this one (real southern lingo there, i is, i is)
super duper web sight I love it. . I will start a new thread soon, thanks again for the welcome, Mopar chicks are rare and should rule! B.B.

Thanks RUSTY but this is way way to high for me. Man I thought 67-69 grilles were high, whew! the "E" body grilles cost more than the cars.
I play wity old mopars as my hobby but I refuse to pay those kind of prices. someone somewhere has one in a barn or building heck I can remember not that long age year one was selling those same grilles for 199. This would be a great part for someone to start reproducing if the demand is this high.
Thanks again for thinking about me. keep beating the bushes and looking in barns.

That's why the prices are high. The demand is great, but to reproduce them the quantity needed might not justify the manufacturing costs.

I have a grill. Needs some slight repair. Sell as is or I'll repair.
