    in new york a trooper can look at car and give a written statement that it is said car and dmv will accept it. pics from block and cowl or rad will only help.

    check dmv on line to check if stolen

    I would suck if it turned out to be stolen and loose the car, illeagle or not I might be tempted to get tags from junk yard

    I am sure the DMV can issue a VIN# after it verifies the car. This VIN will be a state number and in no way represent an original Chrysler VIN.

    The worst case would be someone takes you up on your offer, you pay them the 100.00, put the tags on, go in to license it and the vin numbers they sent you were off of a stolen car!! Good by Cuda and maybe some jail time too. I wouldn't risk it.
