Hey, guys.
Getting front suspension dialed in (finally) and I'm at the point of trying to remove the little bit of play I have in the steering box.
A few years ago, before I redid all the bushings, etc. I adjusted the screw down. Helped a lot. But now that everything is much more dialed in, the play is more noticeable.
My question is how much adjustment is too much? As in, when will I know that I'm simply trying to correct for a totally worn box?
Right now, the screw is about level with the jam nut. As I recall, when I started there were a couple/few threads showing...
I know it's gonna be slightly different on every car, but is the ever a time where you adjust lower than than flush with the nut?
