I know everyone thinks I have lost my mind, but I plan on building a 440 with vintage part numbers. Here is the back story. My Uncle bought a 1970 cuda in 1979. He drove, raced, it intil about 1983 when he wrekced it. Then he bought another 1970 and drove, raced it and wrecked it. In 1985 he passed away when he was 27. I used to ride around in the cuda's when I was a kid. He always told me he would give me the cuda when I turned 16. I was only 12 when he died, but since the cuda was wrecked, it was sold for parts.
Fast forward to 2015 I came accross the opportunity to buy a 1970 barracuda. I plan on doing a replica of my uncles cuda. I want to build the 440 as close to the engine he had. Recently, I came accross receipts he had from 1982 from the machine shop that built his 440. I have tried to research these part numbers, but didnt come up with much. Not sure if they are unique to the shop he bought them through or not. I figured I would throw them out there just in case.
