I believe it will sell for just shy of a million....maybe in the $800K range....

If anybody here wants to buy it, I'll gladly restore it :money:

But is it reasonably obtainable?

Past Mopars

It has been discussed extensively on another Mopar site, and it is stated there that the engine does exist and most likely is obtainable.  The problem is that years ago some bozo got the engine and wanted to put it in his hemi Satellite.  Wouldn't be a big deal except that he ground the VIN off and a casting date number off thinking he could stamp his number in to make it "matching".   :clueless:  ::) :o
The story is well known, and using CSI techniques it might be possible to verify the original VIN on it.  But nevertheless, it will forever be a flawed engine and a blemish on this car even if the car and engine are reunited.
Of course if you are in the market for a real hemi Challenger convertible, beggars can't be choosers!
