Another rear main seal install question : Fast Fish Rear Seal

Can this seal be installed by just dropping the oil pan and installing from there?

You need to pull the last main to get to the seal.

You wil still need to change the ones on the side to correct?

generally yes , sometimes you can reuse the fiber side seals ,

Local shop installed that one on my 383.  5,000miles later still no leaks.
