Do you guys prefer the hemi-orange painted edelbrock / aluminum manifold on the motor or do you like to see the bare aluminum on a 383?

For a more stock look paint it orange.

It depends on your valve covers. Stock valve covers look good with a stock coloured intake. If you have aftermarket valve covers then I would go for an aluminum coloured intake.

I had my intake powder coated with an aluminum color. Now I don't have to worry about the raw aluminum getting stained and its easy to clean.
Btw, The CudaChic applied the
two
colors of power coat to the valve covers.
