Considering how rough it looked before, it cleaned up OK. Sometime back, on Moparts there was a full air cleaner assembly in excellent condition for like $1800 if I recall correctly. As far as I know, it did not sell either. Most guys working on a real 6 pack car will want one without the pitting and holes. It would fit on a resto mod just fine, but again for a true AAR or TA, it will have to be nearly perfect.
I agree with Mark, put it on eBay and let the market decide. This should maximize what you will get out of the part. You could also try puting it on the Parts for Sale section and see if you get any takers.
