Amd 72-74 cuda quarter panels

I called amd yesterday to ask how long till they restocked there 72 cuda quarter panels, there answer was 4-5 months, I could not believe his responce, confused and in disbelief I replied thanks and hung up.. now I wonder why so long?

Probably stamped in China. Could be a hang up in material suppliers, issue with the press, they all then need to get EDP coated, and a few weeks of transport to get to US shores.


..stuff happens. They have a significant amount of part variations and probably make long runs of each part to get the economy of scale behind those parts and not constantly changing tools.

Have you tried YearOne or another big outfit to see if they have those parts in inventory?

I know nothing about year one and the quality of there panels, but it looks like they might be in stock for 300+ more per panel

Looks like only the 1/4 skins are available....You could try calling the bigger suppliers like Stephans or Tamraz

I'm not familiar with stephan or tamraz, is there quilty  as good as amd

Stevens is an AMD dealer and they might have them in stock. I believe Tamraz and Columbia Parts just drop ships from AMD so if AMD doesn't have them your stuck. I waited almost a year for AMD to make the fenders for my 71 Cuda.
