New Roof Skin Installation

Just gonna ask a question here,
Has anyone used panel adhesive when installing a new roof skin???
I was thinking of using it on the sides of the roof skin, front and back would be plug welded.
Thoughts?

If you can clean it and clamp it good I would think that would work but I would still weld it. What I did with mine was to drill holes in the drip rail NOT the roof and plug welded it from the bottom up. There's not much of a lip to go from the top down and it is much cleaner that way.
