I think the only thing that saved him was veering back towards the correct side of the road at the last moment. What an idiot.
This reminds me of the time I watched 2 guys riding motorcycles at about 50 miles an hour step off to the side of their bikes and "surf" on metal plates on the bottom of their boots. They were one crack in the road away from heading into oncoming traffic. It's their choice if they want to do something reckless with their bodies - just don't take someone else with you.
