Mopar Performance Orange Wires

74 Cuda 318.  I've got a Mopar Orange Box ECU and an MSD Blaster High Vibration coil 45000 V with ballast resistor.  Are the 7mm Mopar Performance ignition wires good with that setup?  I'd like to have orange wires and they're the only ones I've found.

Why not? They're made to be plug wires and it's a 318 and not a race car. Where's the downside? Just my

I wasn't sure if the extra 15,000 V would require upgrading the wires.  I've also read a couple of reviews that said the wires weren't the correct length, but hopefully if that was an issue, it's been fixed.

Problem I had with the Mopar Performance orange wires a few years ago is they didn't fit very well, a couple were extremely short.
I had purchased through Summit so they took them back on exchange for a MSD set which didn't fit great either, again a couple to short.
I ended up getting some extra wire & terminals to make a couple of new wires and trimmed others that were to long to fit. A universal MSD set would have worked better for me.....

I bought a set from Summit a couple years ago. They were Taylor Pro Series 8MM. 78355. Custom fit package. You cut the wire to the length you want and crimp the boot on. Several colours available. Make sure you order the right boot, 45* or 90*. Also order the cheap crimping tool. I think it was about $12 but it did the job right.

I am very particular about wiring under the hood looking neat and organized. I always buy cut to length plug wires and route them myself. Most already cut sets are too short or long for my taste.

I have the orange Mopar wires on mine and they are a little tight but they did work.
