Why would you choose to run those tires which are obviously pointed to a stock resto but then choose to put them on a wheel thats wider than the factory produced? None of my business, it's your car to do as you please but Chrysler only used those tires on 15x7 rims so why stretch it? The modern equivalent tire size is 215/60-15, the tire manufacturers recommended rim width for a 215/60-15 is 6-7.5 and as mentioned before modern radials are more forgiving than Bias ply tires...
If your looking at wider wheels that tells me your not truly committed to the OE look.. If thats the case than wise up right now & forget the idea of paying twice as much for an inferior bias ply tire just so it'll have a certain "look"......
Buy the wider wheels, buy some decent modern tires, smoke'em & replace'em, have better ride, better cornering, more traction & still have money in your pocket...
Or really go off the deep end, order a set of Year One's 17" Rallies & some real performance tires & never look back...
