There are two of them mounted on the top of the door panel. They press against the window to prevent it from rattling. Problem is these old guys make noise when rolling the window down. The noise went away after I removed them (now the window rattles). Any one know where I get replacements or how I may be able to fix them so they do not make noise when rolling the window down?

someone does make them.  I've seen them on ebay but are expensive.  The problem with fixing the ones you have would be what material can you get to do it with.  It appears the factory made them with a hairy fiber possibly so dirt particles can fall out and not stay in the material so they wouldn't scratch the window.

I think people have made their own with the loop portion of velcro. I've seen it talked about on here before. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Looks like they used felt?
I'm going to try blown motors suggestion and try to rebuild it with the loop part of Velcro.

Just finished the interior restoration and shared it here

JayBee was asking what I used on the window guides so I figured I would answer that on this thread

Decided I wanted a bit more padding so I went with felt/velcro combo.

The first thing I did was made note of how much coverage the old furry stuff had on the retainer so I would put the same amount back on.

The furry stuff pulled off easy. A wire wheel made quick work of the remaining glue.

Cut the felt and velcro to the correct size and got the felt wet. Gorilla glue needs water to activate

Applied gorilla glue to each end

Placed the velcro on top of the felt then stapled both sides together

Applied grazy glue gel to the retainer

Applied felt/velcro to the retainer using crazy glue gel then clamped down for about 5 min

Done!

Wash hands then repeat for the remaining retainers

Works well. No more moaning noise when I roll the window down.

Here are links to the materials I used.
